What a good band these guys are. It seems to be unusual these days to seeing a band that have a real drummer on stage with them. Call me old fashioned and believe me you wouldn't be the first if you did but I do prefer to see a band with a drummer. Having said that the Texas Tornado's who are on at Fort San Antone next month are an excellent 3 piece band without a drummer.
Back to tonight's mean entertainment The Diablo's an excellent 5 piece band. They are something that is quite unique on these shores these day. One they play country music very well and secondly they play mostly there own stuff. They treated us to good vocal harmony's and very tight musically harmony's too. Its quite easy to tell why they got last years Band of the year at the British CMA Upcountry Awards which is held at Great Birchwood Fort San Antone. This years event will feature The Diablo's and the Texas Tornado s. As I have said in previous posts Great Birchwood really do have a lot of good stuff coming up this year. Hopefully we will all enjoy them all together or that you find something that is to your taste.
