First ever blog June.

Welcome to my first ever blog!!

Went to Fort San Antone Great Birchwood today. A great Bar what I think the Americans would call a honky tonk dance hall. Except this one is Just outside Lytham St Annes England. Its has everything you would expect from such a venue in the USA. Its got great food, The biggest Steaks you will find for miles, Great Country music. Yes you did read right Country music. 2 big dance floors. And Live Music every Saturday night and Sunday lunch.

Today's entertainment was Ethan Allan. He use to be the lead Singer of a duo called The Cheap Seats who had a few number 1's in Europe and were on CMT Europe. They had a big hit called Something in the water. There is a Line Dance call The Beast which after 10 years is still the most asked for dance. I know this and I don't and never have and never will linedance. The song is good though. Unfortunately I don't think Ethan is as good on his own he needs a side kick to keep him in line. Still good though and we still have a lot to thank him for. Not sure what thought. hahahaha.

Next week they are starting a talent contest on Friday called Birchwoods Got Talent. Dave the Butcher ( called that Coz he is a butcher ) is going to be the comper and Emma the doorman's wife is going to be the Hostess. There is going to be a £500 prize. This is either going to be very good or just very funny. Either way sounds like it night be good to me. On the Saturday night is a very good band called The Diablos. They were on at the awards weekend last year. They surprised everyone because they were so professional. I enjoyed this band and I hope they pull a few in. I cant remember who is on on the Sunday lunch but Wayne will be in the DJ box as ever in charge of the requests.
