Fort San Antone Great Birchwood have always been famous for there mini festivals. The most poplar of these is The New years Eve Festival. But there are a few throught out the year. The next one coming up is the August Bank Holiday. Acts that will be performing are Friday Night The Lenne Rockers, Saturday Night The Cavern Beat ( An excellent Beatles tribute act ), Sunday Lunch The Fabulous Picasso Brothers, Sunday night The Dirty Hat Band and Monday lunch Tim Mckay.
Whilst surfing the net the other night I stumbled across a site called big beat I have put a link to this sight on the blog. I noticed that they have a festival of there own arranged at Fort San Antone. The Dates for this is 23rd October to 25th October. The confirmed line up so far is James Intveld, The Swing Commanders, Cross Country, Kenny Johnson, The Sunset Trio, John McCane and the Last of the Breed and The Hotwires. The ticket cost and full details are on there site. I will update this blog with any other details that I find out. and I will of course mention it a few more times so that you don't forget. I am sure this will be a poplar event so get your tickets nice and early so as not to be disappointed. Good look to all involved with this event.
