It would appear that Wayne is giving Fort San Antone a truly globule appeal. Last weekend saw James Intveld from America take to the stage and a fine job he did too. For those of like me who had not heard of James Intveld before he was apparently the voice that Jonny Depp Mimed to in the film Cry Baby. He has also sung with Bruce Springsteen.
August brings us acts from two more country's. First up is Nicki Gillis on 1st August she is one of Australia's biggest female country rock singers. On 2nd August we see Marisa Da Mato from Malta. Her and her family have drop in a few times for Sunday lunch. Her family have persuade Wayne to let her get up and sing a few numbers. Wayne was not disappointed and booked her. I cant remember what she did but I do remember thinking what a good singer she was.
The following weekend sees another Australian. This time it is the turn of Travis Collins. He was on last year and went down a storm. In fact a few of us have been asking when he would be on again.
The August bank holiday brings us two more acts from opposite ends of the globe. First up from Germany is probably the best rock and roll band around today The Lenne Rockers. They have had the place absolute rocking in the past. Really looking forward to them being on again. The day after we welcome back The Cavern Beat. Probably the best Beatles tribute act in the world. Well that's what they say. I have to say they are pretty good and they are from the the god dam States.
