Once again the Texas Tornadoes treated us to a good performance. The set list seemed to be a bit slower than normal. Which did no surprise me seen as how I saw Pete the lead singer tucking into a big plate of ribs just before they went on stage. He still manage to get on the dance floor a few times. To join the dancers line dancing.
For those of you who have never seen a plate of Fort San Antone ribs they are about a foot long and about 6inches wide. Bloody huge things.
There was a good sized crowed in tonight too. The local Macro was holding a works outing with us and seen as how they all left very late and looking three sheets to the wind or looking like they had been in a Texas Tornado I guess they had a great time. Lets hope they all come back again soon.
Actually there have been quite a few new faces in over the past month or so. i hope these people become regulars. With the quality act that they saw tonight there is every chance we will see them aging soon. The Texas Tornadoes will be on again in September as part of the country music awards weekend. That should be a cracking weekend.
