This Saturday night brings us the fantastic trio going by the name of The Texas Tornadoes. The first time The Texas Tornadoes played Fort San Antone was about 2 years ago now. Pete the lead singer decided the best way to make sure the band went down well was to get anyone that was hanging around with Wayne at the DJ box a drink. Although this was good of him he need not of bothered because we were already enjoying it and most of us were a bit drunk by that time too.
Pete says quite often when he is on stage I love this bar and judging by his reluctance to leave I believe what he says. Pete and the rest of the band can be quite often be found enjoying themselves on the Sunday lunch too. The band are actually from down south but they seem to share our sense of humor. In fact Pete is a Londoner born and bread. He has even been a London cab driver which accounts for why you cant shut him up once you have got him talking hahaha.
The band themselves always give a good performance and look like they are having fun entertaining us. They are always up to date so there set is changing constantly. Another Saturday night to look forward to at Fort San Antone Great Birchwood I think.
