So far this summer has been a fantastic summer to welcome two Australian country music singers to Fort San Antone Great Birchwood. Not only is the weather its normal self, miserable. But also there Cricketers seem to be being more than generous in the Ashes. Lets hope that continues.
First up tomorrow night Saturday 1st August is Nicki Gills. She is apparently one of Australia's biggest country rock singers. I checked out her web page the other week. There is some footage of her on there performing an acoustic number on BBC Radio. Nicki sort of reminds me of Sarah Jory who use to go down really well with the Fort San Antone crowd. I think we could be in for treat.
The next Australian to grace us with his presence is Travis Collins. He is on Saturday 8th August. I will blog about him next week.
