Ok first of all I must apologize as I had been out during the day I arrived very late and missed the HotWires all together. But seen as how I have seen them a few times before I can say that they have always been excellent. So I am sure the were again.
I did get to see quite a bit of James Intveld. He played mostly rock a billy style music which seen as how I quite like the Stray Cats and Brain Setzzer. James did appeal to my taste. He also did a very good version of Jonny Cash Ring Of Fire.
A few people near where I was said they thought he was good but he wasnt doing anything they had hear of. I thought that was a good thing. It was refreshing to hear an act do stuff that Ethan or Magill didnt do last weekend or Billy Bubba probably wont do tomorrow. But I take there point. I have to say plenty of people must of liked what that saw Because quite a few people seem to buy his CD and have there photo taken with him.
The disappointing thing about the whole evening though was that there weren't more people there to support Fort San Antone and Big Beat who were the promoters. The link to there web page is on this blog.
